Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat

“Ek Bharat Shresth Bharat” (One India, Best India) is an initiative launched by the Government of India on October 31, 2015, on the occasion of the 140th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. The initiative was announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the inauguration of the Statue of Unity in Gujarat.The main objective of Ek Bharat Shresth Bharat is to promote cultural integration and celebrate the unity in diversity of India.
