NIPUN (National Initiative for Proficiency in Reading with Understanding and Numeracy) Bharat is a program launched by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, under the aegis of the Samagra Shiksha scheme. The initiative aims to ensure that every child in India attains foundational literacy and numeracy (FLN) by the end of Grade 3 by 2026-27.
